Ways to Give: Help us make poverty history!

Your support is appreciated! Every gift is important and will be recognized with an acknowledgement and a gift receipt. Most importantly, your gift will help provide services and resources to residents that are struggling in our community.

MyRegistry

We have set up an online registry to provide guidance with donation suggestions. Please visit myregistry.com and search Community Action House.

Employer Matching Gift Programs

Many employers offer matching gift programs that will double or triple your contribution to Community Action House. Please contact your benefits office for more information.

Food and Personal Care Items

You may drop off nonperishable, unopened food goods and personal care items to any of our locations. Clothing may be donated at either our Resale Store Locations: The General Store, 694 Michigan Avenue, or MRC Boutique, 665 136th Avenue. For more information please contact us at any of our locations.

Large In-Kind Donations

Large in-kind donations are always welcome. If you have large items or quantities we are happy to pick them up free of charge; however, days and times for this service are limited. For more information, please contact: David Lee, Resource Assistant, at (616) 392-2368, ext 144 or dlee@communityactionhouse.org.

Please note that large in-kind donations are only accepted at our General Store location.

Resale Store Donations

Our Resale Stores' primary mission is to financially support the programs of Community Action House. The proceeds generated by the resale of your donations allow CAH staff to spend more time doing what they do best: feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, preventing foreclosure and evictions, providing transitional housing, and offering educational classes to help build prosperity.
