2008 Point-in-Time Study Findings About to be Released

This year's survey results are almost ready for release but until then, here are last's years as a reminder:

2007 Point-in-Time Homelessness Study:
279 children that are homeless or on the verge of homelessness
50 women that chose the uncertainty of homelessness over the agony of domestic violence
25 individuals facing foreclosure or eviction within 30 days of this study
4 pregnant women who are homeless.

Not only are last year's number disheartening but they serve as a somber reminder of the persistent need for our services and the disjointed lives that many families and children secretly struggle with. Please check back soon for the 2008 Point in Time Study and for more information on how to battle poverty and homelessness with us.
