Help Close The Gap
A recent change to the Federal Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) has paused more than $1.1 million in food shipments to Feeding America West Michigan (FAWM) through at least July. While we don’t receive TEFAP food directly, we rely heavily on FAWM for affordable food supply—and this pause means we're planning to pivot to higher-cost sources. We’re preparing for a potential $150,000 increase in food-related costs over the coming year.
Will you help us meet this gap? We’re asking 300 neighbors to become monthly donors, providing $30 each month to power our work.

Did you know each year several local farmers donate cows each year? Match their generous donation with a $613 financial gift to cover processing costs for an entire cow! You’ll help keep our shelves stocked with hundreds of pounds of meat, one of the most expensive items for us to purchase.

Direct food donations are critical for supplying our guests with essential food. We use an average of 765 cereal boxes each month – an essential item for families – but also a costly item for us to purchase! Host a drive with your church, school, or business.
