(map)

Spruce up your garden, enjoy sustainably grown garden vegetables all summer, and support two amazing community organizations that are make an impact on the lives of others! You'll find a nice selection of heirloom plants grown without the use of chemicals of pesticides, flowers, and many other vegetables.

Why Plant Sale?

For the past several years, Eighth Day Farm and CAH have worked together to provide food to the community. These include the New Fast Food, which connects Eighth Day's amazing produce with low-income families, packaged into easy to cook bags with seasoning, recipe cards, and convenience. CAH has also helped distribute Eighth Day Farm produce from the very start, through the Community Kitchen and Walk-in Food Pantry.

A vegetable garden is the perfect way to eat healthy, save money, and respect our environment - a win, win, win! Vegetables from your garden aren't covered in wax or other chemicals, and your investment is the purchase of the plants from our sale - which are priced to sell! Every pound of veggies your family eats this summer doesn't have to be grown far away, or be transported by highways to grocery stores.

Each organization will receive 50% of the proceeds from this home-grown Plant Sale.

So pull out your planner and turn to Saturday, May 20th, 2017, 9am-1pm - at the Community Action House General Store. It'll be a great way to kick off your summer.
