Refresh: Hygiene and Hope offers free showers, mail service, and drop-in center for people experiencing homelessness and housing instability
First United Methodist Church of Holland (FUMC) and Community Action House (CAH) are pleased to announce a new program providing free showers, mail service, and drop-in center to provide relief for individuals experiencing homelessness. Coffee, snacks, free wifi, access to a computer and printer are part of the program. The program runs Tuesday mornings at First United Methodist Church, located on 10th St between Pine and River in Holland, MI.
The program is closely aligned with CAH’s Homeless Street Outreach Program, launched in October 2017 with the goal of connecting people who face housing challenges with resources to achieve stable housing. CAH and FUMC are hosting an Open House to celebrate the opening and spread awareness to benefit as many affected people as possible. Community members, agencies and local service providers, and interested parties are invited to tour facilities and learn more about our efforts.
