Starting in January 2027, some individuals on the Healthy Michigan Plan may need to meet new work rules to keep their Medicaid health coverage.

Even though these changes do not start until January 2027, it is important to make sure your contact information is up to date. This helps you get important letters and updates about your health coverage.

You can update your information by:

  • Logging into your MI Bridges account at newmibridges.michigan.gov/

  • Calling the MI Bridges Help Line at 844-464-3447

  • Visiting the local office:

    • Ottawa County: 12185 James Street, Suite 200, Holland, MI 49424

    • Allegan County: 3255 122nd Avenue, Suite 300, Allegan, MI.49010.

  • For Ottawa County residents, email MDHHS-OTTAWA-UCL@michigan.gov. Be sure to include your case number, first and last name, and date of birth.

Over the next few months, be sure to read any letters or notices from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). If they ask you for information, respond as soon as you can.
