Lura Barber, Food Club Network’s Executive Director
Community Action House is proud to be part of the growing Food Club Network, a statewide effort expanding innovative, dignity-centered food access models across Michigan. The network recently named Lura Barber as its founding executive director, bringing experienced leadership to help more communities launch membership-based Food Clubs that combine healthy food access with supportive resources and connection.
Community Action House is one of the organizations helping shape and strengthen this movement, and we’ve seen firsthand how the Food Club model empowers families through choice, dignity, and community partnership.
